An Irish West Coast Wedding

It was an intimate destination wedding to the west coast of Ireland for Colleen and Ian.
From North Carolina but with Irish roots, Colleen knew what she wanted from the start. A church ceremony, pub reception, great scenery as much outside as they could to incorporate green grass, stone walls and fun! She chose the color palette of grey and red as a nod to Ian’s welsh heritage and Ian and his mates took to the Welsh and Irish ways by not skimping on the drinks!

The group based themselves in Co Clare and took advantage of the location for lots of tours up and down the country and as this summer was, they had great weather for it all!

The morning started with getting ready in the Falls Hotel in Ennistimon and Derek from Memento Photography captured the whole day beautifully.

From the church, the bridal party went for photos along the west coast to get that scenery Colleen wanted so much to have and in west Clare there was no way to miss it. The weather was amazing for them too!

After some photo fun and a little tour along the west coast of County Clare the group headed to one of my farourite locations and venues, Vaughan’s Pub for dinner, drinks and Irish dancing afterwards.

Beautification {aka makeup} was  Keane for Beauty Hair was Beehive Hairdressing based in Miltown Malbay, Sheena from West Clare Flowers did a great job on the flowers as usual! The cake {no photo :-(  } was beautiful and tasty by Yvonne at Celtic Wedding Cakes and the venue was Vaughan’s Ceili Barn. Such a great spot. Thanks Mark!

And thanks to Colleen and Ian for allowing me to be a part of your day!
